The HSC manages the production of resources in support of activities on and leading up to World Smokefree Day. Typically there are posters, balloons, stickers, bookmarks and t-shirts as well as other assorted items (these vary from year to year). Generally the resources feature the specific design (and/or strapline) for that year or the World Smokefree Day globe logo.
The 2007 World Smokefree Day theme 'Smokefree…it’s about us’ focuses on the importance of a smokefree/auahi kore future for our young people. Specific resources have been developed to support this year’s theme.
Other Smokefree Resources
Existing Smokefree resources that do not specifically link to the 2007 World Smokefree Day theme may also be useful, depending on what angle regions choose to take. For example, if your region is focusing on protecting young people from being exposed to second-hand smoke, the smokefree homes and cars resources will be useful.
